Monterey Consultants is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our network. As an integral part of our team, the RN will provide and coordinate all aspects of patient care by effectively using the nursing process components of assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in varied practice settings. The RN provides education to patients and the public about illnesses, diseases, and health conditions and collaborates with other health care and service providers.

Specific Skills
Must have a current, full, active and unrestricted registration as a graduate professional nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (i.e. Puerto Rico) of the U.S. or in the District of Columbia.  BLS certification.
Additional Requirements
Able to pass a drug screen and background check. United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.

Educational Requirements
Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant. The Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
