This position will work closely with our recruitment and provider relations departments, serving as the main point of contact for all credentialing matters.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all provider packets prior to their submission to business partners for final credentialing.
- Collaborate with the recruitment team, or provider, to track and update packets requiring modifications to ensure timely processing.
- Be the primary point of contact to business partners for all areas related to credentialing.
- Provide weekly communication on status updates from our business partners on credentialing status updates.
- Communicate credentialing status updates to our established medical groups (NMTG) on a weekly basis.
- Notify appropriate parties/departments once credentialing has been completed.
- Ensure precise entry of approved provider information into the Monterey CRM system, maintaining data accuracy and integrity.
- Execute quarterly audits of records and documentation within the Monterey CRM system to uphold compliance and accuracy standards.
- Monitor the providers process from training status to active status, to ensure providers complete the full onboarding cycle.
- Conduct thorough primary source verification of credentials, licenses, and certifications for healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational requirements.
- Manage the submission and tracking process for background and medical clearance for providers on specific contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and gather updated credentialing documents from providers as necessary, maintaining accurate and current records.
- Assist with updating and maintaining all provider recruitment credentialing documents and packets on the SharePoint platform in accordance with business partner/specialty specifications.
- Lead provider sourcing initiatives to support the recruitment team.
- Other duties as assigned to support the Monterey Medical Department.

Education/Experience
- High School Diploma, or equivalent required
- 1 year of relevant experience in healthcare/medical setting (preferred)
