We’re excited to introduce Wendy Bowser, the newest member of Monterey Medical’s Provider Relations team.
Wendy brings more than two decades of healthcare experience to her role, beginning her career at Dayton Children’s Hospital before advancing into positions as a medical assistant and surgical technologist. Throughout her career, she’s supported patients and providers across multiple specialties, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges healthcare professionals face every day.
Today, Wendy is bringing that experience to Monterey Medical, where her focus is on building strong relationships with providers and helping create a seamless experience from onboarding through ongoing support.
What are you most looking forward to?
“I truly enjoy working with providers to help solve issues and make their day-to-day work a little easier. I value open communication and want providers to know I’ll always do my best to address concerns and work toward meaningful solutions.”
How will you support our provider network?
Wendy’s goal is simple: be a trusted resource for providers. She is committed to maintaining open communication, helping resolve issues efficiently, supporting training and onboarding, and ensuring providers have the tools and information they need to succeed.
“I want providers to feel comfortable coming to me with questions or concerns. Building trust through communication and follow-through is incredibly important to me.”
What can providers expect when working with you?
“Providers can expect honesty, reliability, and someone who will do everything possible to help address their concerns. When providers feel supported and administrative burdens are reduced, they’re able to focus on what matters most – delivering quality care to our veterans.”
Getting to Know Wendy
Outside of work, Wendy enjoys fishing, attending car shows, playing video games, and spending time with her family. A self-described car enthusiast, she once owned and raced a 1967 Pontiac GTO—one of her favorite memories. She also has many veterans among her family and loved ones, including her partner, brother-in-law, nephew, and uncle, which has given her a deep appreciation for those who have served and has further strengthened her passion for supporting veterans through her work.
Please join us in welcoming Wendy to the Monterey Medical team!
