Expanding Access Through Trusted Medical Partnerships

Monterey partners with general practice, specialists, and allied health practitioners across the country to provide local coverage for examinees. We offer a wide range of medical examination-only services for the public sector, serving agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Labor, and the Department of Defense.
 
With a nationwide network of over 700 medical professionals, our providers conduct diagnostic-only exams on an as-needed basis. These services are delivered in private practices, established clinics across the U.S., or through group screening events that include travel opportunities. Since 2016, we have proudly supported the VA’s mission to expand access for veterans to receive their much- needed disability examinations.

Matt Sinning

Matt Sinning

President, Monterey Medical

Matt Sinning joined Monterey in 2014 following his retirement from the Air Force after 21 years in Air Force Contracting. He is responsible for client engagements and operations across Monterey’s medical line of business. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and former Air Force Football player, Matt enjoys spending time with his five children, live sporting events, hiking, golf, and photography.

Director, Business Development Medical Services

Andrew joined Monterey in 2016 as the Director of Provider Relations and Network Development. His role is to strengthen and develop a network of top-level providers across the country to serve our clients through his excellent dedication and compassion in building long-lasting relationships. He earned his Bachelor’sof Science in Health Management from The Ohio State University in 2005. Andrew is an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan and loves coaching his two boys in travel baseball.

Nicki Hole

Nicki Hole

Director of Operations, MDE Program

Nicki joined Monterey in 2018 as a provider recruiter then in 2021 became the Provider Recruitment Director. She is responsible for developing and executing overall recruitment and onboarding strategies, ensuring our providers have a positive full-cycle experience. She earned her Bachelor’s from Wright State University in 2008 and then went on to receive her Master’s Degree in 2011. Nicki enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband, especially on vacations to their favorite place, Aruba. She also enjoys watching college football with her friends, Go Buckeyes!

George Koury

George Koury

Director of Business Development

George Koury joined Monterey in 2023 as the Director of Business Development. He has spent the past 24 years in various roles at the Air Force Academy. He brings a unique blend of strategic insight and program management expertise to his role. He holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering Mechanics from the Air Force Academy and an MBA from Saint Mary’s University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his three kids and indulging in his love for sports, particularly golf.

Danielle joined Monterey in 2021 as a Medical Provider Recruiter. She has experience in recruiting for multiple projects and has a background in sales, marketing, and benefits management. She earned her Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Human Resources from Strayer University and is currently pursuing a Masters from The University of Dayton.

Provider Relations Manger

Betsy joined Monterey in 2018 as a Medical Records Downloader and was promoted to Provider Relations Manager in 2020. She serves as a resource to the provider network, answering questions, resolving issues with contracts, systems, and payments. Betsy manages quality and timeliness customer service metrics for provider network. She credentials new providers to the network. She earned her degree in Communications at Montclair State University in 1999. Betsy enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, and fishing.

Shennon joined Monterey in 2021 as a Provider Recruiter. Shennon is responsible for recruiting qualified medical providers of all specialties, negotiating fees, and coordinating execution of provider contracts in accordance with QTC. She completed college coursework at Pulaski Technical College in Little Rock, Arkansas. Shennon enjoys spending quality time with her two little boys, Benjamin and Beckham, being active, and traveling when time allows.

Credentialing Coordinator

Kylie joined Monterey in 2024 and is responsible for managing the credentialing process from start to finish. Her main role is reviewing and submitting credentialing documentation to business partners, as well as tracking the credentialing process after submission in order to streamline the onboarding process for healthcare providers. In 2014 she earned her Associate of Applied Science with a concentration in Social Services Technology from Clark State College. Kylie spends most of her time with her fiancé and two children. She loves to travel and be outdoors as much as possible. She also enjoys watching football, and cheers for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Provider Recruiter

Renee comes to MAPS Medical with over 25 years of medical-legal experience with the last 18 years as a registered nurse in various specialties. Her top priority as the Quality Assurance Manager is ensuring a thorough and detailed review of all medical reports along with establishing and building a rapport with clients and providers.

Jessica has been with Monterey since 2017 and currently works as a recruiter for Monterey’s provider network. She is responsible for recruiting qualified providers of various specialties across the country and coordinating the initial onboarding and contracting process in accordance with the needs of our business partners. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance from Waldorf University in 2018. In her free time, Jessica enjoys reading, weightlifting, and spending time with her two children.

Jennifer Moss

Provider Recruiter

Jennifer Moss joined MAPS Medical in May 2022 as the Finance director. She is responsible for accounts payables and receivables, provider payments, budget & financial reports as well as other administrative tasks for website updates and recruiting physicians. Jennifer has a M.S. in Secondary Education from University of Southern Mississippi and a B.S. in Secondary Education from Mississippi State University. Jennifer has taught mathematics and has bookkeeper experience from a local retail business. She worked for Monterey Consultants as a provider recruiter and enjoyed building relationships with providers. Jennifer is goal-oriented and has run several half-marathons to maintain her health. In her spare time, she enjoys watching sporting events that usually contain one of her three children or traveling to the beach, lake, or mountains with family and friends.

Emily joined Monterey in 2025 as a Provider Recruiter, where she plays a key role in connecting top healthcare talent with meaningful opportunities. She was drawn to healthcare recruiting through her passion for both people and healthcare and was inspired by how staffing directly impacts patient care. She brings strong communication skills to her role, helping her effectively manage priorities and build trusted relationships with providers and team members. Outside of work, she enjoys going to the gym, binging a good show, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband, Seth, and their son, Julian.

Alan joined Monterey in 2020. He is a provider recruiter supporting numerous efforts. He is responsible for recruiting qualified providers of various specialties across the country and coordinating the initial onboarding and contracting process in accordance with the needs of our business partners. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration at American Military University. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and coaching youth sports.

Director of Medical Records

Amber Orcutt joined the Monterey team in 2017 as a Medical Downloader. In April 2021, she was promoted to team lead, and she became the Director of Medical Record Operations in September of 2021. In this role, Amber manages her team in Medical Records downloading as well as Medical Records Indexing. She hopes to continue her education and pursue a B.A. in Business Management in the future. Amber enjoys spending time with her husband and children and taking on new adventures. 

Steven Sisco

Senior Staffing Recruitment Specialist

Steve joined Monterey in 2023 as a Provider Recruiter. He is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment of medical staff from a variety of specialties and backgrounds for contract work with multiple lines of business to include the Department of Veterans Affairs, Department of Defense, and Department of Labor. He is a retired U.S. Army veteran who served multiple combat tours in Iraq.  He also served as a U.S. Army recruiter before being medically retired in 2016.  He earned his Bachelor’s in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Business Management and Social Sciences, and a Minor in History in 2017 before earning two Master’s Degrees in Theology and Biblical Exposition in 2019 and 2020 respectively.  Steve enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, exercising, outdoor activities, and being creative (writing, illustration, painting).

Ethan has been with Monterey since 2018 where he started as an intern and now works as a recruiter for Monterey’s provider network. His role as a recruiter includes sourcing and communicating with medical providers to create a network of providers that assist in outsourced Veteran’s Disability Compensation Exams. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Sport Management degree with a minor in marketing and coaching from Ohio Dominican University in 2022. The following year he received his Master of Science in Sports Management degree with a concentration in leadership. In his free time, he enjoys training for marathons, watching his siblings’ sports competitions, wedding planning with his fiancé, and spending time with friends and family.

James Sanford

James Sanford

Provider Relations Representative

James joined Monterey in 2022 and brings more than five years of experience in customer relations, mentoring juvenile in rehab, and substituting in grade school. James serves as a resource for network providers, answering questions, resolving issues involving contracts and payments, ensuring quality relationships between Monterey and our network providers. James earned his degree in Liberal Studies at Bowling Green State University. James played football for the Falcons where he won the MAC Championship two out of the five years he was there. In 2021 he began coaching football in Xenia.
