Shannon Powell joined Monterey in 2025 as an Acquisition Support Specialist, supporting federal, state, and local government clients, as well as university partners, with documentation development, compliance monitoring, and contract management. She retired from the U.S. Air Force in 2014 following a distinguished career as an Airfield Manager, where she held key leadership roles, led multidisciplinary teams, and managed complex, high-value airfield projects.

Shannon is a Certified Professional Manager, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, and an MBA.
