Medical Receptionist

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer client calls.
- Provide paperwork to clients upon arrival and assist them with completing as needed.
- Prepare client charts for the doctor.
- Ensure paperwork is in the correct client folder.
- Print out the schedule for the day, as well as the doctors schedule daily.
- Scan and email documents to various departments on a daily basis
- Prepare, clean and sanitize exam room and supplies
- Accompany doctor for exams, as requested by patient
- Make client appointment confirmation calls
Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)
EDUCATION
Required- High School, GED or equivalent
Preferred- Medical secretarial or receptionist certification
EXPERIENCE
Preferred- minimum 3 years’ Medical Receptionist experience in occupational health setting
Preferred- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA
Familiarity with the Windows operating system, Internet Explorer Browser, and Microsoft Office
