Are you ready to make a meaningful contribution in the realm of medical care for US Veterans? Monterey Consultants specializes in medical disability exams for esteemed veterans. We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Receptionist to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a vital part of our front office operations, you will engage in a range of essential duties aimed at ensuring the smooth functioning of our medical practice. These responsibilities encompass, but are not limited to:
- Managing routine front office tasks such as responding to incoming calls, coordinating and confirming appointments, establishing schedules, and performing accurate data entry.
- Welcoming clients upon their arrival, providing necessary paperwork, and offering assistance to ensure completion as required.
- Ensuring precise organization of paperwork within the designated client folders.
- Generating daily schedules, both for the day’s appointments and the doctors’ timetables.
- Skillfully scanning and transmitting documents via email to various internal departments on a daily basis.
- Collaborating effectively with our valued business partners and providers to guarantee the timely and precise submission of essential reports.
- Accompanying doctors during examinations, as per patient requests.
- Conducting the measurement of vital signs with precision and care.
- Displaying the versatility to thrive both within a collaborative team environment and autonomously.
- Exemplifying exceptional customer service acumen that fosters positive interactions with our providers, business associates, and cherished clients.

EDUCATION
- Required- High School, GED or equivalent
- Preferred- Medical secretarial or receptionist certification
EXPERIENCE
- Preferred- minimum 3 years’ Medical Receptionist experience in occupational health setting
- Preferred- Thorough knowledge of HIPAA
- Familiarity with the Windows operating system, Internet Explorer Browser, and Microsoft Office
